Andrea has worked with the YMCA for the last 4 years, and has joined YEG Youth Connect committee in 2022. She is a strong believer in opening up opportunities for youth who are vulnerable and at risk. Being a part of such a fantastic initiative brings her gratitude for the great work that is being done. Andrea loves working with youth, as they are the future to our communities, which is very important to her as a mother herself.

Daniel is a Youth Community Safety Liaison for West Division. Holding an M.A. from Kairos University, he has spent 20 years working with youth and families. Working together in our communities, he hopes to help create a safer and more welcoming environment for all our neighbours

D'orjay (They/Them) is a full mesa carrying shaman, artist and letter carrier living and creating in amiskwaciwâskahikan. They have been volunteering with YEG Youth Connect for 2 years.

Born-and-raised in the heart of YEG, I am passionate about serving ang supporting the youth of Edmonton. As the program coordinator at YESS, I have had the opportunity to meet youth where they are at, understand their wants and needs, and create meaningful and fun programming. I am new to the YEG Youth Connect Committee, but excited to support this amazing event and create a safe space for the youth attending.
